I am One !

I celebrated my first birthday ! And ... I got a belated birthday present on 11th August - CHICKEN POX ! Babysitter aunty's daughters had chicken pox one after the other and the germs finally got to me.

Mama said you can play join the dots 1 to 50 on my head quite easily. All the spots are concentrated on my head. There's some on my legs, arms, back and chest but compared to my head ... you get the idea.

I am 11 mths old !!

Just about another month more to go and I am going to be ONE ! Right now, I've found my two little tootsies and made them work harder. They have been propping me upright and getting me to places I have not been and touched !! Hee hee .. I can pull the wires on the little speaker stand (much to Dada's "delight").

.. water baby .... not

Mama took me to swim about 2 weeks ago. Don't I look good in my swimsuit ? Unfortunately, I don't like the cold water. Besides, blame it on Mama. She took me into the pool when I was sleepy and hence grumpy :p

Mama is experimenting with me again. I've got yogurt on the menu now. Yesterday, i had bits of pizza crust too :)

I'm 9 mths old !

Times flies ... my grandpa and nana have gone home to Lowestoft, England. I miss my evening swing time with Nana.

I'm 9 mths old already. Another 2 mths plus .. I'll be 1 year old !! Remember to send me a birthday card - every time the Olympic Games advert comes on - that'll remind u. The Games Opening is 08.08.08 !! Yeah yeah .. buy the lottery as well !

I'm pretty vocal at the moment. Haven't really said my first words yet - still babbling but babbling with lotsa intonations.

My grandpa and nana

I've had an exciting 3 weeks .. my nana and grandpa are here in Singapore for a visit. They arrived here on 26th March and will be staying with us till 29th April. I've, of course, charmed them with my huge grins and cheeky smiles ! I can send Nana into peals of laughter just by sucking in my lips :)

I'm already 8 mths old although Aunty Audrey tells Mama that I should be counted as 7 mths as I was evicted a month early. I can sit and play with my toys. Can't crawl yet but I can rotate myself around. Haven't yet progressed to crawling .. I am quite content to get carried about and held up.

Gong Xi Gong Xi

I am all dressed up for Chinese New Year ! Don't I look smart ? I haven't started the Year of the Rat very well though. I've been coughing and sniffing ... Mama had to take me in to the KK Women's and Children's Hospital to get some medicine. All the neighbourhood clinics are closed for CNY till 11 Feb. Well, the nice girlie doctors there said that I was probably getting a sensitive nose problem - Mama did some reading up and said it might be catarrh cos the coughing was casuing me to vomit as well.
